May is being great for comedy, not only did we have our monthly Comedy Open Mic Contest at Maverick's Bar & Grill, we had a pack house once again as 15 performers competed for $100 in cash! All performers were hilarious and the crowds enjoyed every single moment of the show. As a special treat the show was closed by national known comedian Dan Gabriel! Dan, has been featured on Comedy Central's Premium Blend, The Late Late Show, as well as several feature films. He was featuring for comedian Greg Morton at El Paso's Comic Strip and decided to check out the local comedy scene. Thank you Dan you were great and all the comics and the audience enjoyed the show. We had a great show at Rock House this Friday March 27th. We had comedians from Sun City Comedy Showcasing the best El Paso has to offer. The show was hosted by Gibran the Comegician! and it featured performances by Beto, Robert C, Ray Charles, Eric Sias, Manny Vigil, Mando Blanco, Spartacus, S3, and The Wolf!
